My neighbor caught his 43 lb. Northern Pike on 4 lb test line with no leader. (He was fishing for Kokanee) It is the second largest pike caught on that light of a line in the world.
This is a pic of my home office taken a few years ago.
Me with my 90 lb Halibut
My brother in law caught one a little bigger than mine, 260 lbs.
