The 2nd Annual Philly BMX BBQ, Swap Meet, and RIDE

Hey guys and gals, if you are taking the train, walking, jogging, crawling or sliding to the BBQ and are not able to carry bulky food stuffs, we are more than happy to take donations or better yet, when you arrive nice and early saturday, there are several discount stores just outside the lot such as target, save Alot and a dollar store too for which you can purchase your additions to the list. The more food and drink, the better. If you are bringing people with you to enjoy the festivities, maybe they may want to contribute too.

Thanks to all who are continuously aqdding to our needs list.

HEAR YE, HEAR YE,

STILL NEED CLEANUP AND GRILL VOLUNTEERS FOR THE BBQ.
BRIGHT AND EARLY TO SWEEP THE LOT,
1/2 HALF OR ANYTIME YOU CAN GIVE TO MAN or WOMAN THE GRILL,
ALSO NEED TO CLEAN THE LOT AND RID IT OF DEBRIS WHEN WE ARE DONE WITH FESTIVITIES.

ANYONE WILLING TO BRING A PROPANE GRILL, THAT WOULD BE A WONDEFUL THING. YOU WILL GET TO EAT THE FIRST DOG OR BURGER COOKED ON YOUR GRILL:D

I think there was a volunteer to bring a grill or two. I'll double check, I still have the spreadsheet I'd started before trying to keep it all in the other thread.

KEEP THOSE DONATIONS/ CONTRIBUTIONS POURIN IN, LOOKIN GOOD. WE HAVE A HANDFUL OF GUYS AND GALS HELPIN WITH THE GRILL BUT NO ONE HAS YET OFFERED UP TO HELP SWEEP THE LOT BEFORE, AND , OR AFTER THE EVENT. WE ARE ALSO GOING TO NEED A COUPLE VERY, VERY DEDICATED AND GENEROUS MEMBERS TO CONSIDER TAKING A BAG OF TRASH TO THE NEAREST APPROPRIATE RECEPTACLE. WE CANNOT LEAVE ANY OF OUR TRASH. I'M TAKING ABAG, JON 1971, IS TAKING ONE, AS WELL AS A COUPLE OTHERS.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR ALL THE TIME AND CONTRIBUTIONS YOU ARE PUTTING INTO THE EVENT.

I've got the produce... Would you prefer pre sliced tomatoes & onions? I might be able to bring a gas powered push blower (like they have at the race track) to assist in making a clean lot...

Sliced is great if You wanna do that but not neccesary. We can do that the morning of. No problem. Thanks for adding to the list bro.

The blower would be a great idea. Never thought of that. So I can count on you fot the morning or afternoon lot cleansing? You let me know what works for you. Thanks again. Puttin you in for produce and possibly a blower.

I work for a large produce company & we cut our own veggies. They are sterile, foods service ready tomatoes.... Less prep I will buy them, sliced onions, a head of Iceburg & Greenleaf lettuce & some carrot sticks/ranch dressing for the kids... How about salad for the vegetarians/light eaters?

The blower is a go... What time would you want me there in the am?

C'mon folks, we are a week away from the BBQ and still need a lot covered as far as food and 1/2hr volunteers

Since we're getting so close and still need so much, I will go ahead and add some more to my list. I'm coming from out of town and my cooler will be filled with snacks and "soda", so I can't really bring food with me.

I will add the following for now:

DISPOSABLE SERVING TINS FOR FOOD - at least 4 large ones
ALUMINUM FOIL - 2 rolls
PLASTIC WRAP - 2 rolls
