not so much the cages. plus you gotta realize how much crupi pedal bodies cost and those are being mass produced

Re: home made parts let see em
to make only 1 set of those pedals would probably cost you as much as a nos set
sorry but it's true. you'd probably want the cages cut with a water jet who knows what they'll charge you for that and I'd have to get #'s off a set of bodies, program them then spend hours making them as I don't use a fully computerized mill it's more like 50 / 50. not to mention you gotta figure out how your gonna bend the cages. But could it be done? yeah no problem. Could you fit them on crupi spindles... i have no idea that would depend if they were made with the same spacing. if they weren't then you'd have a whole new problem of do you alter them to fit crupi spindles or make spindles and i don't even wanna start talking about that ![]()

i suppose i was hoping you had a set on hand to mimic but once you lay out the degree of fifficulty i guess it was just a pipe dream to get a set that at least looked like them without spending a fortune on real 1s let alone finding someone with a set for sale. was at the bike show in so cal yesterday saw a set on the ground among the other parts for sale guy tells me they are not for sale ........ grahh

Thermal count is rising, In perpetual writhing. The primordial ooze, And the sanity they lose. Awakened in the morning, To more air pollution warnings. Still we sleepwalk off to work, While our nervous systems jerk. Pretending not to notice, How history had forebode us. With the green house in effect, Our environment was wrecked. Now, I can only laugh, As I read our epitaph. We end our lives as moles, In the dark of DAWN PATROL

This may seem like a dumb question .. what's the plastic that's used to make plates called? Will I be able to shape it by heating it up?
I used a plastic sign I found in the pool area of my Apt complex that had fallen off the wall. it was thin enough to cut with a pair of sewing sheers yet thick enough to hold up as a number plate on a race bike. I ended up finding the same gauge plastic at an arts supply store so I didn't have to paint over the old lettering on the sign. Its on my 83 Predator in my bikes page.
