Very nice

I do plan on having a well respected member here powder it the wrong dayglo pink color before I install some 87 PFT team model decals on it.
I will call it NOS refinished so I can charge the big bucks too.

Re: My 1980 JMC Shadow F/F C.L. Score

yikes Wow! Nice pickup. I really like that JMC and the Powerbends.

FYI Voris Dixon (VDC) never sold Powerbends to the public. They were a Powerlite product right from the beginning. Powerlites bender had to waste quite a bit of tubing to make the Powerbend, and Voris had a method that produced them with no waste so he built them for Powerlite for the first few months or so. Also it kind of looks like those are actually 2nd gens that were built by Powerlite. It is kind of hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like the bends coming up from the clamp area are too rounded to be VDC. The VDC built ones have a more square bend coming up from the clamp area, like the bends on Star Bars and GHP bars of the same time frame.

Re: My 1980 JMC Shadow F/F C.L. Score

And then there's the KX in the background.....need one of those in my drive way too.

You did score for sure.  I wouldn't know what to do with that.  I struggle to sell the good stuff, but I don't think I could hold on to a $600 stem.  Not a bad dilemma.

Might have to sell that F/F. No way I could leave it "original". tongue Was it spraybombed? The headset appears to have been painted black. Nice find.
