Re: Someone school me on GT speed/power series

Since we are having a "Show your GT Speed Series party" I guess I'll join lol
Here's mine  http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/gt_bicycles/43676

MADE IN U.S.A.

Thermal count is rising, In perpetual writhing. The primordial ooze, And the sanity they lose. Awakened in the morning, To more air pollution warnings. Still we sleepwalk off to work, While our nervous systems jerk. Pretending not to notice, How history had forebode us. With the green house in effect, Our environment was wrecked. Now, I can only laugh, As I read our epitaph. We end our lives as moles, In the dark of DAWN PATROL

Re: Someone school me on GT speed/power series

I believe all the speed series had a serial number stamped on the dropouts and all the power series just had it on the BB...i recently picked up a power series...think its a 2000 model...i needed help identifying all this as well

I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy. smile

That's a Power Series, all the Speed Series frames were made in the USA. And where you have that black GT sticker on the rear of the toptube is rounded on Speed Series frames

Show me a power series with box chain stays.  roll The differences that you speak of refer to a team and non team model, U.S Made and over seas.

I think the factory used the wrong og stickers on the is box stay power series 3.0. loltongue. NOT. Schooled again. tongue

Here it is under my bikes here in the museum. http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/gt_bicycles/54718
