2013 SE Racing 35 anniversary bikes???

Anybody got any info on the 2013 retro series?  I think a 26"  "PK Ripper" would be cool...  Especially b/c it's the big 35 anniversary.

Hope they have a white loop tail quad 20" frame/fork set available. I bought to many blue NS parts recently and dam'd if I don't have to build another bike now, ah shucks!! To the miss's, "Oops, sorry honey, I know I said the TA was my last one for a while but darn'it anyway, can't let all these parts just sit here" wink lol

mmmm........loop tails.......

I love SE Racing, always have!

But that sneak peak pic is not only disturbing, but very disappointing.

I feel what you are saying...

No classic font on the stickers... Might as well get rid of the cro-mo LG and put some carbon race forks on the new top end pk.

I think it's starting to look like a redline.... If I wanted a redline.........roll

Hmmm. Why would they come up with a whole new bike and call it a P.K.? That seems weird. It does look badass but, that's no Ripper.

Actually, 2012 is/was the 35th anniversary, but who's counting right?

Bring on the bikes!

While I don't intend to offend anyone's tastes. The PK's I saw at the track this weekend looked completely out-dated compared to the others. Now they may be just as fast, but they look old, and that really only appeals to old guys. The number of SE's I saw was similar to that of Standards and S&M's at the track, which were few. It was our big race week-end and the name in racing is not SE any more. Maybe this will help.

I like the look of the new bike, and I assume they used the same name for two reasons. One, is branding, people know of the PK reputation. Second is it helps them close the door and move forward. If they gave this a new name and completely dropped the PK from their line, it would cause a certain amount of drama. This way they stop some of the drama by showing a new and improved bike.

Re: 2013 SE Racing 35 anniversary bikes???

Appeals to old guys? Now that is funny as hell. Anytime I am out in my '10 Retro PK, or my '95 P51 I get more young people than you can shake a stick at coming up to the bike and being blown away by the look of them, the style, the lines. Some things are timeless, and it has nothing to do with how old you are - you either like it or you don't.

Re: 2013 SE Racing 35 anniversary bikes???

Hey dudes. Cool to hear your excitement on the 2013 line. Our 36th year of bikes. lol

You guys will be stoked with our retro offerings. I know I am.

In regards to our new PK Ripper Elite frames, they still are PK Rippers. Just a new evolution to be faster, stiffer, stronger, and lighter. Take note that the top tube is still with the floval tubing. Any and all other PK influenced bikes (Big Ripper, LiL Ripper, Ripper, etc) will keep the same floval top tube AND downtube. There will be no changes on these bikes.

Anyone notice Javier Colombo win the UCI World Championships this past weekend on his 2013 PK Ripper Elite XL? Anyone notice 40-yr old Shan Hatfield make the main & get 6th in a field of 105 riders in the 30+ men's class? The bike is fast.

Hi Todd. Any retro 20" bikes in the lineup?

BTW - I met a BMX official who attended an event in Argentina BITD, and what he recalls the most is how down to earth you were because he remembers you playing a mock soccer game at the airport with younger kids smile
