Little did I know that I would have a total and I mean total black out bike a week or 2 away from completion when I started this thread. My last build is almost done, its another S&M ( no surprise there ) With ALL black parts. I mean black spokes, nipples, frams, fork, bars, stem, headset, chain, cranks, BB, pedals, tensioners, seatpost, seat, brakes, brake lever, brake cable, grips, hubs, rims and tires. Only the freewheel is chrome:) Its gonna rock a$$!!!!!!!

removed the chainstay stickers since these pics and changed the chain to a Blk and Grey Shimano. Just waiting on some nos Black Widow pedals to arrive

Heres my black beauty. Was going to do a disc brake setup but I screwed up my hub so I just installed the regular brakes on her.

Im not affraid to admit this, so I have to ask......what the heck is this? And even more important, as a long, long time road cyclist, carbon everything is everything and very expensive to boot. $5500 road bikes were the norm for me back through the early and mid 2000......I must know what this baby would cost.

It is a 2001 Specialized fatboy.. Look how nice the welds are on the carbon fiber

And maybe $500 total investment

I see.....thanks! Im sure Im gonna catch a few remarks on this, but what can I say. Im almost 41, Im old school! I just cant build without pads! I know its a sin to many younger riders, but old habits die hard! lol Heres my blacked out S&M with some lovely colorful S&M pads! Also added a shield head tube sticker!
