Yep, I picked up more pegs. Rims are NOS and and the chrome looks great. This could shape up to be a killer bike build some day!

Re: SOME Pretty Rare NOS WILKERSON AIRLINES (WAL) Stuff
Hey Guys,
Looking to verify some info. on some early SE /WAL prototype parts I picked up a few weeks ago. I know SE made the early WAL stuff and apparently I have a couple early prototypes. Both the forks and bars came off the bike PK pictured below. Anyway, story is that these are both SE made bars and forks that were developed in the late 80's during WAL's R&D w/ SE to produce Ron's new line of WAL freestyle frames, forks and bars. The original owner said that only a handful of the forks were made and were handed out to a few SE factory sponsored flatland/freestyle riders and Kevin Jones that rode for WAL. If anyone can forward me some contact info. for Ron W. or forward these pics and story to him for verification, I'd surely appreciate it.
The Landing Gear forks were made from a pair of 24" forks. The peg holes have welded insert all the way through the fork leg for strength. The dropout are LG dropout welded together for added strength also. Very well made forks. After doing some research myself, I did verify that the early WAL forks were very similar to these LG's w/ the fork legs extending below the dropouts w/ the peg holes on a similar location.
The handle bars are huge 29" wide w/ a 9 1/4" rise. I know that the early WAL San Quentin bars have the straight cross bar and gussets welded under the bar bends. Apparently, these were some early prototype WAL bars w/ a different design. The cross bar has 5 1/2" of knurling in the center of the bars. Almost look like a washers were welded to the ends of the bottom/stem bar. The welds on these bars are super clean.
Here's a few pics. Any opinions or comments are welcome. Like I said, I just really would like to verify the story
