Went searching for old riding grounds- Chelmsford MA

...so my boss calls me and says he needs me to paint some fire gates
in the town I grew up in. I head to the location realizing it's an old riding
spot I used to go to. Crooked Springs reservation in Chelmsford, MA. There was
this awesome oval track with berms carved and built at the ends, and on both
straights, there were pit jumps. These were pits dug out of the track with a nice
lip at the exit. Good times. So I went back after work....

At the top of this washed out hill was the track...carried the bike up and...

It was still a good ride. smile I found some new trails, spent some time chillin' at an old riding spot,
and got some sweet pics of my scoot. Broke a sweat and re-lived some memories. cool

Crooked Spring Road. I remember riding with Chris N. there. I think he lived nearby?
My buddies Keith and Mike and Clay. Some kid Jeremy and his little bro? Oh man, we tore it up!
Skyway, Redline, Diamond Back, Team Murray, VDC, all represented on those trails cool

Thats cool! I took my daughter for a ride to my old stomping grounds only to find out that the only thing left is the Tarzan rope swing over the creek (which only had about 8" of water sad ) Everything else is overgrown. I'm half tempted to go back with a machete and a lawnmower...

Have to bring a helmet with me next time though... A chipmunk feel out of the tree and hit me in the head. yikes lol

I'M NOT ON HERE REGULARLY. WORKING ON MY HOTROD smile

Will trade bikes/parts for 29-31 Chevy roadster parts!!!
