Also check out the double framestanders....used for an "undertaker" maybe? What about the back side of those cranks? Looks polished to me and not OG finish. Prototype bike perhaps? I remember seeing this pic long ago, but not sure of the date.

1. Can you tell me all your "NOS" parts you currently have?
2. What's the difference in fading between your NOS stuff and survivor parts (banged up survivor stuff, and really clean survivor stuff)? Please explain the way your NOS parts were stored, both before you owned them, and now that you do own them.

and even if there was some what of a color change with my NOS stuff it would still not be anything even close to the color change of a survivor bike or part.
so my NOS parts would STILL be a closer match to what new day glo would be over a survivor... 

I know Demon.  What can you do man?  It's like being locked in your own personal prison cell arguing with yourself but yet we get up everyday to log on and see what the new argument and angle might be.  But alas it never changes!  Geez, I think being a part of this thread might be making me crazy for following it for so long!

i have the NOS 86 frame/fork
NOS 86 bars
NOS 87 bars
NOS 87 post

they are stored in OG packaging if it came with it, they are kept in a closet away from light. just like before i owned them.
i already know where your going with this. i did not buy all my parts from the same person, and the parts are even different
model years. so some are older then others....same color. iv seen alot of NOS parts and they are always the same color.
the same can not be said about survivor bikes/part. they are all over the place with the color.

It's not about where somebody's going with something.  Everything is not suspect.  He is probably trying to just figure out part of what's going on that we can at least have a known variable..   whats wrong with science! 

Now... All the NOS parts above match?  Whats the history.

lego, all parts DO NOT match...

same color..different shades

as for history they were made by gt in the 80's...gt was a bike company ....

i know where they came from and what they are, i see no reason to prove anything to you or anyone else....i do not need to name drop so you can go bug them for parts.

The worse part about this thread when it comes to others outside looking in.. this only thing that bothers me... be it someone who seen dayglow pinks in person or just over the computer here at the museum, unless they have seen the blueish pinker color in person, they really don't know just how far of the color you think is right is wrong.  The computer is misleading we know that.. but its misleading others YOUR WAY.    Why you think I got my bike done? I had been on the museum.. I was looking at the photos over the web...  you guys who think the pink is right are damn lucky 80% of the people here never seen the color you think is dayglow.  I dont care if it's NOS or not, if you dont want to call it pink, call it green, because it's not our succulent dayglow we love... MMMmmmm

If I am supposed to be believe that the color can range from what I have seen in person to what a juicy dayglow looks like I just have to call bullshit i'm sorry.  This thread is 100 pages because I can't lie.  Be easy to just agree ... You know the dayglow handlebars are killing me to see.  I can't wait to see the drastic difference which is what i'm saying is not a SHADE.  And so who says what SHADE is catalog correct.. just to throw fuel on the fire   woooooooFFF

hmm.  lego do you think they're is a possibility that some of these colors are possibly the same color but just different shades due to application, batch mixes and maybe lighting issues?  If they're is any possibility whatsoever to this I think the case can be closed, don't you?

Hey, thanks for adding to the conversation   Theres nobody here, or at least in this thread that got a pepto colored dayglow for xmas of 87.  In fact, the main people arguing the color to pepto didn't possess dayglow pink bikes in 87 and some were 5 years old in 87... but I guess they entitled their opinion too.. Just not going to let them tell ME what MY bike was..  i'm sure your friends as well as mine and the other og owners bikes were the same or reasonably different in color, no doubt.  We have the correct color for 87, 88.  I would not trust anything 86 in regards to dayglow pink.  Should even be part of the discussion.

enlighten us all in one sentence then what you're trying to prove because all I get from thread is that no one but you and  t2jeff seems to know what the right color is for a gay glow pft? am I right with that?  just trying to make sense of all of this.

Part the problem is the trying to prove.. prove against what.  I will give you your sentence.  But first you tell me in YOUR words what you think the color is and WHY.  And no, its way more than just me and jeff.  You would be suprised at pms from others who dont want to join in the conversation out of fear of being jumped on, but i got my floaties on..  the more and more new evidence that would pop up...

So, in your words describe gay glow pink no photos and why you feel it is that color.
