That would absolutely rock! Jeez, even using iBooks author ( free) would give one a good sense, of the scope of the book.
An A-Z book would definitely fill a need/void/gap ![]()

Would love to find an old Mad Dog, Holmes and Platform Dirt Bike. I'd like some 1st Gen Slams. I also need to find some stickers for an HAF and an early Challenger. Is anyone doing repops?

Re: Rad Rides BMX Book
Hmm, guess thry just made this book as an example of what books should be next..
I see a couple..a dropout guide..an up to 1980, 80-85 race bikes and another just for freestyle.. hmm..
A fine start tho for sure..Juan sure has had some neat bikes!!

Re: Rad Rides BMX Book
Hi again Gary. I don't mean to be pushy or a pest. My question is very simple. As a newbie to this hobbie I'm just trying to find some type of sense of this omittion pertaining to the absence of the Redline RL20 II as a legitimate top 10 bmx / freestyle bikes of all time (which after all is the subject of this great book). I posted the question to try and see not only your thought on the matter but also of other members like myself. Yes, other book titles could possibly be made about bmx bikes, but to omit the RL20 II as belonging on this book has to have been a grave lapse of judgement on the author of this book...unless someone can come up with a better explanation, hence my question. Thanks!

Re: Rad Rides BMX Book
Hi, I know Intercity put out requests for people to submit their rides for the book a few years back. Maybe no one sent in pics? Also they where only taking pictures with certain fields such as studio back grounds etc.
Anytime someone puts the label "best" on something people have different opinions. I am actually stoked to see a book like this out their. Hopefully it will inspire more like it.

Could not find a reference to it in the book, just a photo credit for the cover. However, here is a scan of the rear half of the bike. Someone here will know what it is.
PS. Hope I am not violating copyright by posting this
Regardless, everyone should run out and buy this book.

Re: Rad Rides BMX Book
i want this bike. twin top tube AND a bend on the down tube, and a loop tail! It looks like a mash up of a Hutch, GT and a Haro. I have scoured the Museum. No bike looks like this,... that i have found.
This bike is a total mash up. i think it is a custom.

Just got mine yesterday...sweet book! I'm 99.99% sure that the bike on the cover is the 1984 Rickman Freestyler on page 73. First thing I did was look for it, I wanted to know what that cover bike was too! ![]()
