Tires on backwards I really hate that

Yep, that's Chicago style. and a BIG +1 for the V bars thing, although if you're restoring a 70s bike, I can see why you would use them.

it shouldn't matter what parts someone uses on their bike as long as the person who owns the bike likes it.

Pork Chump
and double pinch flites
but for a real old school part/parts cringe it would have to be:
1. CW bars
2. braced lay backs
3. EZ bars on a TA

Reproduction parts (jdb, porkchop)
solid colored chains
mirror polished parts that werent available like that
Rainbow label comp 3's on a 'show bike'....i rather see cheng shin skinwalls..least they are era correct
retro parts....some of them are commanding the same $ the old stuff is....use the old stuff on old bikes.
viscount seats....the remind me of a shoe horn
yellow tires

some guy had some "camouflage-tires" on his bike...I´ve even seen them in a camouflage-blueish color....man, that`s really the worts I can think of....

Retro parts on an old school bike
Drain pipes
Number plates with numbers on a freestyle bike... Sometimes a plate on fs bike rocks!
Colored chains
Higher end bike with a cheap finishing touch (cheap seat/pedals/brakes/grips)
Freestyle stem on race bike
Freestyle bars on race bikes
But i know alot will disagree....i love tuffwheels on a race bike!!!

old parts on new bikes, new bikes with old parts. its just......... why

something nicely done with all the right high dollar parts and everything...... and the crappiest set of brake pads ever made.

front brake cable (thats cut too short) straight routed instead of using the potts mod bolt thats already in the stem! i see this all the time

What's up with all the porkchop hate? I'm fairly new here, but have talked to the guy several times. Seems like a great guy with a wealth of knowledge to me. I for one am building a bike with "Champagne taste and a beer budget." I've got 3 kids to tend to before the bikes, so every dollar I can save I do. Repop works fine for me. Now I can understand if I were building a $1000 bike I'd want to use as much OG and NOS as possible, but for a $200-300 rider, why spend $600 on it?

Not knocking you or anything mate but most freestylers started out on race frames set up for freestyle which included putting pegs and stuff on the bikes to make them usable for tricks...there where no freestyle specific frames when it started rolling....just saying is all.

As for what gets me boiling it's gotta be repro parts and Purple ano LOL
