Re: North Carolina Riders

The placement of that 10th spoke is so key! lol As many as I have built, you'd think I'd pay better attention to that.

Been riding my butt off! This is my front tire after 3 months of almost daily flatland practice. It was a Frequency-G. lol

Peg wheelie to hydrant to steamroller to cyclone ride out. Took over an hour to nail it, sadly I don't do too much recording, so you'll have to wait to see it in person. I think I lost a couple pounds in sweat!  lol

Re: North Carolina Riders

I am discovering that links are easier than individual tricks, mainly cause you can half ass one trick, and pull the next one off, and it all looks intentional in the end.

For most people if you're doing anything other than riding in a straight line you're pretty rad. It also does add something to the trick if you don't fall over in the process. That's my biggest problem. smile

Sweet! Me and mike rode for a couple today. I hit a milestone. Got the cyclone finally. Of course having Mike pushing me and giving pointers helped a lot. Maybe we can ride tomorrow.

Re: North Carolina Riders

I thought I would show you guys the Master built up before I disassemble. I had posted the frame back a few months ago. I was on a Militant and went to this because the geometry seemed a little more beginner friendly.

Not sure how I ever got it the first time. I went out, and tried for an hour, and could not duplicate it. It's a weird combo of tricks to link. Gotta go back, and forth, front to back all in one nice fluent motion. Not too sure how fluent it was the first time though. lollol

When you compute the length of time between the "EVENT" and "THE NOSTALGIA FOR THE EVENT", the span seems to be about a year less in every cycle.
