Re: Bob Haro new bike. What is this?
If it is new school and dialed then I might consider getting one. I'd ride it until it dies. I don't place a monetary value on bikes. Only a fun value. A couple of years ago I rode my Trick Star all over Philly trying to break it. Since the ride started and ended at the river, I was going to toss it in if it broke just to see if people dove in after it.
ride your bike until it breaks.

I love this statement for so many reasons!

Exactly... what exactly do you want him to say?
Good grief.
Great marketing though, he's got everyone doing exactly what his marketing agency planned. They're talkin! ![]()
Everything said here is all based on assumptions. It may not even be ONE bike. It could be a line of bikes. Could be a lot of things. Nobody knows, and Bob isn't going to come here and tell you what it is, or what it isn't. He isn't going to apologize for what it is, or what it isn't.
Some are going to blindly buy it, just because Bob's name is behind it. Some will repel it, just for principle that other will blindly buy it.
It's nice to see passion around the sport, that is great, but jeez, everyone needs to just calm down, and take a breath.
Most of my stuff will be for sale soon!

I heard 26s as the image in the add is not actually the bike but based on the original Haro silhouette under the cloth... but then again people/companies over seas who I work that produce copies of rc (remote control or radio control) and other products may not know what there going to try to copy this go around.

Re: Bob Haro new bike. What is this?
most of the time these bike companies just worry about profits and jam whatever they want to sell down people's throats but i guarantee if it's hi-ten steel it will flop like the new kos, 26" gt performer and whatever else reissued bike that has been whored up.
if they made them out of chromoly and made in america the cost goes up alot but they could charge more but still not make a profit like if they made them out of hi-ten,overseas and sold 2 times as many.

Re: Bob Haro new bike. What is this?
I recently added a 2nd bike to my collection with a view to actually riding it. I am 6ft, 41 years old and HEAVY lol
Condor
When my Hoffman frame arrived from the USA I noticed the words "MADE IN TAIWAN" underneath.
Imagine my dismay!
This is the BEST MADE, most dialled BMX ive ever seen. Amazing finish, weld quality etc etc Who cares where it is made, especially given the quality of this.
Hope Bob goes with this.
