Seems like a lot of white builds going on here.

Re: Summer of 2012 80's Dyno build off entry submission

I just wake up early for work and check in on the thread before I go in. But as far as the class being on the list I did not bother to keep what class anybody entered in mind because that is what the submission thread is for the one where you post before, during, and after photos of you're ride and what class you're  putting it in! I'm just keeping record of the bikes entered. I must say I see some exclusive rides being built here, I can't wait to see em done big_smile

greg zts wrote:

hey man, don't you sleep?

And on a side note, is there anyway you can put what class everyone is entering. I know that is a hassle, but for a guy that doesn't sleep, should be no problem!!! big_smile

I just finished my 98' Detour build today, I will post photos tomorrow as I had to pull it from the build-off because it was "technically" already built.

It's a NOS frame from the Earl stash, everything in the pic bar the wheels are NOS but i'm afraid i'll have to strip this rider for it's forks to finish the whole thing

Just opened the package which contained my decals for pit build. I found out that they sent me the wrong decals. They sent me red and yellow VFR decals, not the blue and white ones i need. Damn it!

Here is my 98' Detour I just finished.  I added the 3 piece GT profile cranks, pacman pegs, tuf neck chainring, tech 77 levers,  painted the brakes, and NOS slammer bars.   I pulled this from the contest because it was already built, but let it be motivation for yall to finish yours so I can see them!  big_smile

I love those Profile GT cranks.  I know where there is a set, but seperating them from their owner may be a challenge.

They are worth the chellenge, I got lucky with these.  They were used but after a vinegar bath and polish, they cleaned up super nice.
