1990 aggressor
Seen this on ebay not even complete for 2250 buy it now. I just bought one a few weeks ago with the number starting with 0890.
THIS IS A 1990 GT TEAM AGGRESSOR OLD SCHOOL BMX BIKE. THE SERIAL NUMBER IS 09900118 INDICATING THAT THIS BIKE WAS MANUFACTURED SEPTEMBER OF 1990 AND WAS THE 118TH BIKE OFF OF THE LINE!!!! THIS BIKE WAS A PROTOTYPE FOR THE 1991 DESIGN EVEN THOUGH IT WAS PRODUCED IN 1990. THERE ARE A VERY SMALL NUMBER OF 1990 AGGRESSORS WITH THE 1991 DESIGN, FROM MY RESEARCH THIS WAS A LIMITED PRODUCTION BIKE IN 1990 BECAUSE AT THE END OF 1991, GT DISCONTINUED THE AGGRESSOR. THIS GT AGGRESSOR IS A VERY RARE BIKE ALONE, EVEN MORE SO CONSIDERING IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION. THE FRAME, FORK, NECK , STEM , SEAT POST CLAMP, SPROCKET, CRANK, BRAKES (HANDLES, PADS, SET), AND THE VERY RARE CHROME BASHGUARD ARE ALL ORIGINAL WITH THE BIKE. THE SEAT IS VINTAGE AND IS CHIPPED, THE HANDLEBARS ARE VINTAGE MJ CYCLE, AND THE SEAT POST IS AN OLD SCHOOL GT STRAIGHT 16 INCH UNCUT. THE PARTS ALONE FOR THIS BIKE ARE VERY EXPENSIVE AND VERY RARE, ESPECIALLY THE BASHAGURD WHICH IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE FRAME AND FORK ARE STRAIGHT AND THERE ARE NO BENDS, BREAKS, OR CRACKS. THE PAINT OF THE FRAME IS CHIPPED AND THATS ALL. THIS IS A VERY RARE BIKE AND THIS IS THE ONLY ONE FOR SALE. I GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL NOT FIND ANOTHER 1990-1991 GT AGGRESSOR PROTOTYPE. FROM MY RESEARCH THEY DID NOT MAKE MANY OF THESE IN 1990. PLEASE LOOK AT THE SERIAL NUMBER (PICTURE 10) THIS IS BIKE NUMBER 118!!! PLEASE CONTACT ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS.

Love the price... Hope it sells so that my 89 and 90 become worth that or more?

Re: 1990 aggressor
That is my bike you are talking about, Im not sure what to ask for it, Perhaps you all can help me create a reasonable price for it. I removed all of the parts that are not original. I have the original frame and fork, bashgaurd, seat post clamp, crank and sprocket, and also the original odyssey brakes with the GT stamped break pads. Im not really sure what to do with it. Part it out, sell it as it, or restore it. I appreciate any advice, I have been out of the bmx game for a while. Thanks again.

I'm in the same boat. I have a GT Frame No 9891693. Needs work but most of the original parts are there. What is it worth these days?

Re: 1990 aggressor
I guess I will chime in here...as I built the Team Model that is on the site here. Drop the word prototype...its not a prototype, and it may not be an early version. I would say a June serial number would be early. These were built in the USA and honestly there quality control was not the greatest, and I wouldn't be surprised if the serial numbers were not sequential at all. It isn't known how many were produced, but they are hard to come by. I like you bike...if it was originally chrome I might be interested in it...but not at 700.00. The parts are tough to get...but all you really have is a standard bike and even the parts are mostly incorrect. I would sell it as a frame set with bashguard. If it is black...it would have been matte black. I would love to restore the frame for you and decal it properly...but I don't know that you would get that much more for it after spending the money on it. If I was really on the hunt for one...I might pay upwards of 300 max for what you have...but only if I was on my usual crazy path of destruction. I have sold all my 91s...well almost and had fun fixing them up, but didn't have fun spending all my money. Someone buy it and I will give them a deal on the paint job!

Re: 1990 aggressor
Thank you for your response. I bought this bike and its original color was electric red. It needed to be restored so I did my best when I was 12 years old. It definitely needs to be restored, how much do you think it would cost to restore this?

Re: 1990 aggressor
Here's the one that he restored, I got it from him. It would take a lot of money and time finding the parts to build it like this. I was going to buy a 1991 from my buddy and build it but too hard to find some of the parts.

Re: 1990 aggressor
I saw a picture of my exact bike in a gt advertisement offline. The paint was originally electric red, however the rest of the parts (sprocket, bashguard, crank, fork, and neck are apparently all original. What do you believe would be a good asking price for the bike as is? Thanks again for your help.

Re: 1990 aggressor
I would say $200-400 to the right person for the bike you have. I bought a super clean chrome 1990 with weled on bash guard for around $400 a few years ago.
