It's a two year old frame from a complete bike. I don't think any BMX company offers a warranty longer than a year on a complete.

Then buy him the First wave, the top tube may be short but it's full chromo and cheaper.  And I think the guys at Albes are absolutely incorrect when they say that a DB won't hold up to hard riding.

Buy direct from Sunday for $150 + shipping and choose green or silver.  Not sure why you would pay more for the same frame.

I saw that it is listed twice.  The $150 listing you have more options to select from before you add to cart, the $200 listing has no drop down options and only has an add to cart button.

Re: TALE OF THE CRACKED FIT CR24 PART 2

If you look closely to sunday's website they only have 21.25tt models left. The one there offering is a 21.75 tt model. I'd pay the extra for the longer top tube.

Ok, I bet you your salesman is mistaken and it's the wave-c. The $200? is probably there cost.  Just curious what's the TT on the broken frame?

I'd grab the dirtbike and sell it(if your son doesn't like ) and take that money and a lil on the top to get somethin he really wants...Personally I'd just ride the s&m, but that's me...

Re: TALE OF THE CRACKED FIT CR24 PART 2

Has he ridden a Model C, the only reason I ask is it definately is a different geometry than the fit. I like the way the Model C I rode was, but it is a lot more like a trials bike than a BMX IMO, the BB is high...felt like a Monster Truck to me lol Like I said it was a great bike, I just was wondering if he has ridden one?

you might want to read the thread..... Page 2 at the bottom

"the kid wants the sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! id love the DB but its his bike!!!! thanks everyone for the input!"

What else can a kid ask for? From what I've read the kid rides hard and needs a frame that will hold up. S&M/Fit had it's chance and it failed.

You ride ANY bike hard enough and it'll fail....I actually read the whole thread...even commented...I was just being sarcastic because you had to comfirm for a third time that the boy wants a Sunday.

GOT it..thanks.

Re: TALE OF THE CRACKED FIT CR24 PART 2

I'm just busting the S&M guys balls. Both are great frames. $hit happens and frames break. If I wasn't planning on building a new 22" bike I'd be building another S&M DB. I actually love the style S&M has on there frames. I don't think anyone makes a frame that has that much style. I just feel the Sunday rides better but theres alot of people that would disagree with me because of the BB height. Actually I HATED my first 21.25 Sunday with the 24umph bars. With the raised BB and the lower bars and the short top tube it felt horrible. When I went and built my 21.75 Sunday with a 60mm stem and 8.25 bars thats when it all came together for me. I regret selling my all chrome S&M because it was bad ass
