Re: North Carolina Riders
Well?...
When you compute the length of time between the "EVENT" and "THE NOSTALGIA FOR THE EVENT", the span seems to be about a year less in every cycle.
Eventually the nostalgia cycles will be so close together that people will not be able to take a step without being nostalgic for the one they just took.

I worked on the GT a little today. Not finished yet pending some parts from Mark!
. The only reason I worked with it today is because I hit it with my car today in the garage!

Re: North Carolina Riders
Okay, I put a slimmer, more racey seat on the King today.
Opinions?

I like both seats, but those King Stings (and Lagunas and most other 26" cruisers) just seem to cry out for a springer Brooks saddle. There's one in particular I'm thinking of, but I don't know the model number. Whatever the case, looking good!

Yeah, those are nice.

True enough. Of course considering the cost of original kashimax and other early 80's seats, they're right inline. That doesn't mean that spending that kind of money on a seat wouldn't make me break out in hives, however... ![]()

Finally got my blue 86 Dyno yesterday. The condition was a bit worse then described but I'm happy to have something to work on again. ![]()
I think I'll leave the finish OG on this and just try to clean & shine it up.

I like it Brian. I think a blue/white scheme will look good on that.

Re: North Carolina Riders
I'm not sure which direction I'm going to go with this one. I may go with black components on it. I have an extra black GT mallet, some black AME Tri's and a set of black/tanwall Odyssey Frequency G's that aren't being used.
I was planning to use Mark's blue GT seat he got on that CW for this one. Although, the guy I bought it from threw in a white Dominator with black lettering, which I've never seen before.
It also came with a set of spray-bombed GT Pro bars that will need to be refinished. I'll post up some pics of the parts when I get home.

Frank, I can forgive you missing Charlotte if you host the Raleigh after party. I won't be bringing anything new or interesting, just a few Haros.

That's the only freestyle bike I own except the Kink.
If I bring it I'll be expected to pull some awesome tricks.
I can do a few tricks but they're not that awesome. ![]()

You can just whip out that collection of old race bikes. I still haven't seen that PK of yours yet.
