Whats wrong with the United tires other than they wear out a little quicker than most, In my opinion.  Gt makes a few good ones...the airbags are nice and grippy.  I would go with a 20 x 2.0 all around!

Let me know what you need, I sell United bikes at my shop.

I just put on Fly tires-Ruben 2.0 in back, Sergio Lagos 2.15 in front. Like them so far. Had Odyssey Aitken front/Plyte Path in back, and they were good too.

FIT FAF 2.25 110 PSI is where its at super solid and wear great. . . Also the animal, But I think the teal walls would look great with the black and gold!! Good luck on choice!!

I agree about the teal walls, probably will go with the white. Just have to pick which brand...

I'm liking the Odessy Aaron Ross tires myself. The have a tan wall version which would look cool.

Re: Best street tires for my new school build

ive tried myself or know somebody with all the tires listed so far. the Demolition Momentums i think are the best tire out right now.
the fits are ok, wear out kinda quick.
the animal glhs are ok, bit heavy and expensive.
odyssey aikens( havent tried the rosses)  aikens were no grip and a lot of tread mush, heavy too. hated them. best left for trails only.
tioga tires seem to be the worst out of everything.

Do Demo's momentums have enough sidewall for grinding Ive been wanting some?

The Demo momentum's have a thin sidewall, actually the whole tire is pretty thin in general when I looked at them, reason why they are so light.

Re: Best street tires for my new school build

i rock 4 pegs and grind everything in sight, most of the time at maximum speed and ive been running a set for over a year with no problems. the size of the tire and the side tread makes it to where the sidewall never really touches anything.

in fact i just got a new set in from dans today cool

Re: Best street tires for my new school build

I have Maxxis Grifters on one bike, they are really nice, grippy and light and I have Fly Rubans Ramperas on my other bike.  The flys are a bit more of an allrounder and the Grifters are smoother and faster, it just depends on what you want to do on the bike.

KHE Premium MAC2 Street is what I would suggest.
