OK...
Shooting for:
SUNDAY, APRIL 29th

We have over a month to make plans. Is there anyone that absolutely can not make it on this day?
Now is the time to speak up!

I will also be riding this route again before the ride happens if we can get a nice weekend maybe even next weekend.

Re: gauging interest on a Washington DC area ride and/or meet.

Ironically, I ended up riding almost same the route again today to meet up with some relatives in DC.  The weather was actually quite pleasant, although a bit misty at first.  By later in the afternoon, however, it was sunny and warm.  I did look to see if anybody was at Gravelly Point, although I had not expected to see anybody.

In addition to the Key Bridge route we were going to check out, I found a better approach to the bridge we used last time.  It still requires crossing a couple of roads, but they had crosswalks and signs, and the vehicular traffic actually stopped for me each time (although I think the cars had the right of way).

At this point, Sunday, 29 April is looking okay for me.

Chill, Hank.  I'm blessed.

I'll probably take the Hutch pad off your hands if you still have it the next time I see you. You don't have to hold it for me or anything, since I'll be looking for a whole set in the meantime. Buying them one at a time will be my last resort, since I'm sure it won't be easy to find singles in similar condition.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.  Been laid low from some Chinese Food I had yesterday in DC.  The new thread looks great.  If we take that little jog to the right on the bike path about two miles out from Gravelly Point (soon after the first bridge we cross), we have a smoother approach to the Memorial Bridge.  If we get a chance to ride before the 29 April, I'll show you what I mean.

T-ball season has started. My son appears to have a game about every Saturday. Sundays would be better for me, but I can understand if everyone wants to do it on a Sat. I'll see what I can do about the 28th.

I have the same problems with Saturday. My son has a LAX game every Saturday.
