What is your brand(s) and why?
Im in a chatty mood tonight ![]()
My 1st favorite brand is Schwinn. The reason is,a Schwinn was my first ever bmx bike. It served me well,so faithfull I am. Im also from chicago. Their bikes in my eyes are so under rated. My cheapo sx1000 lasted me 9yrs of hard, fun riding. No issues at all. Cant beat that ![]()
My 2nd used to be Robinson, but Verde has stole my heart. For starters,my 2012 Prism was my first brand new bike since my schwinn. So of course, its sentimental, but I also like how the brand is smaller, etc. I just feel good on it!
What are urs?

I'd add Maxxis tires and Crank Bros pedals.
I've no experience w/Bullseye, LDC, or Standard though.

I'm thinking of changing it up a tiny bit. I think I'm gonna get a Profile chainwheel and save the motoman. I'm asking for some Red Profile hubs as well. I want to build a fairly light set of wheels w/double butted spokes, Profiles, and I'm not sure which rims. I don't know exactly how heavy the Kore hubs are, but I'll miss my silent freewheel!

Cant argue with Profile hubs or spline drive spocket, awesomeness for sure. But the important part is there for your RV.......looks effing amazing. I want one because of this bike, never saw one before. Throw the hubs on and your in business...........still a great bike though, even without Profile's..........

Re: What is your brand(s) and why?
My old school favorites are Torker, Free Agent, and Skyway. New school... I have to go with Sunday, Mirraco, and the new, not-for-sale-in-the-US Mongoose stuff.
I don't ride a BMX bike to look cool to others, I do it because it's fun and never do I think "Boy I sure am cool on my BMX bike."

Re: What is your brand(s) and why?
I really want to build my 8 year old an 18" ATF. I really can't justify a near $400 frame for him though. Even though it will be around for my 4 year old when Grant out grows it, I just can't do it. I'm now looking for a used 18" Fit. I found one about an hour away from me, but it is way out of the way for an hour away.

Re: What is your brand(s) and why?
my fave brands are all brands I rode or still ride, except s&m, I just loveém and have´nt ridden the frames that much as other brands. their forks, redneck stems and slam-castillo bars, always since pitchforks came out in 93! old school wise, kuwahara, then gt, a little haro, and the trickstar frame, were all instrumental in my riding, then in the 90´s, morales for flat and standard and hoffman for ramps, lately, all brands are somewhat cool in an aspect or the other, bur s & m has really outdone itself, as well as odyssey and the classic profile components. a newer brand that´s awesome is colony and animal-skavenger. Iam currently riding a 08 dirt bike will all s&m parts for a little street and vert and love it!

Re: What is your brand(s) and why?
My favorite would be Zeronine. Just love them and the colours, the old team kit etc.
GT, always had good stuff for both race and freestyle in the 80's, race in the 90's and seem to be coming back hard again now in racing.
Now I have a thing for a new cyclecraft race bike.
Also really like Profile.
I enjoy bikes a lot more than cars, although when it comes to cars and motorcycles I think there are some good models and dogs in every brands line up. I have never been totally loyal to a brand, I think it's the same with bikes too.
thinking back I have had hutch, gt, haro, dyno, powerlite, free agent, standard, hoffman, elf, cyclecraft, staats and dk (not in any order) Pretty much all were current, or up to a few years old when I owned them and I don't mind some of the brands are gone or that I'll never buy another again.
for old times sake I just want a nice zeronine.
