2nd Annual "End of Summer" BMX Show and Swap

This event is free and open to the public. Last year was our soft run. This year will be BIGGER, BADDER and BETTER! Please bring your BMX or freestyle bicycle to this event, finished or not, show-bike or everyday rider. Trophies will be awarded this year! I need ideas on what trophy classes that we should have. Should we have judges or ballet (I may need a few judges)? Here are the classes so far- Best 1970's, Best 1980's, Best 1990's, Best Cruiser, Best Custom, Best Freestyle and Best of Show. Maybe one for the pit bikes if I can get a confirmed 10 to show. What else? I will be building a 1981 Mongoose to raffle for this event. I am looking for sponsors for this build. Tickets will be $1 each. I will NOT ship the winning bike. Watch for the build on Bmxmuseum.com. There will be a parts swap and booths this year. Swap spots will be $10. If you are selling a single bike just give me a few bucks if it sells. Yauger (Skate Park) is located at 3100 Capital Mall Drive SW Olympia, WA. There is now parking available on the SW side of the park at 530 Alta Street SW, so we DO NOT have to park across the street at the strip mall/ BIG Lots/ACE/ Burger King parking lot. There is plenty of on-site parking now! Parking was kind of a pain last year. The event will be held next to the skate park under the Pepsi scoreboard. There will be shade, 1 or 2 picnic tables, BBQ pits and grass. NO BOOZE! Olympia is 60 miles from Seattle and 114 miles from Portland, OR and 201 miles from Vancouver, BC. If you are in the area please download the flyer and post it in on your page/website/Facebook or print it and hang it in your shop etc. Thank you to everyone who showed up last year. I still can't believe how many people actually showed up. I am looking for input on this year's event. Let me know if you want to help out. Please help me get this Facebook event to 200+ invites. Please share this page with all of your friends. We tried for a cruise to the downtown/farmer's market area last year but it just did not pan out. Shall we try again this year?
