OK, I talked to a few people this last weekend about a ride and there was some interest.

Here's what I am proposing, I know it's short notice but the weather this weekend is gonna be beautiful. It's gonna be in the 70s and only a 30% chance of rain on Sat, none on Sunday. The more that are REALLY gonna show up, we can choose what day and time.

I wanna go riding this weekend, if others are interested, I have a ride thru Chattanooga, down the Tennessee River and back to downtown for some food. Bring whatever you want for the ride, BMX or cruising bike. Spouses/girlfriends are welcome to come out, my wife/boy will be out with me. Kids are welcome as well, but my boy is 17. I know some younger kids might be a handful the longer the ride goes. If no one posts that they can make it, I might go mtn biking. I'd rather do a 20"/24" ride.

The ride along the river is roughly 12 miles one way. We can go as far as the majority wants to. Remember if you go out 4 miles, you gotta do the 4 back. I already have a place to park for free, great scenery, bike-friendly concrete path along the river, and a bike-friendly place to eat.

Post up if you are interested in showing up for the ride. I've done the ride multiple times with others and it was a great time had by all. Let's hear who ready to ride. Friends of members are welcome to come as well.

Well I guess the way I wrote it, it doesn't actually say Sat or Sun, but I thought people that could make it may want to choose is a better day for them. I'm good for either day. Does that make sense?

Sounds good but due to back surgery last Tuesday it will be awhile . Im in for the next one .

Hope you get better Jim. I've got a degenerative disc in my L5 so I can kinda understand you pain. Heal up dude!!

If this was to happen in Chattanooga once a month, I could go almost all of the time.

I know for me, mountain biking will start up again. If there are any who are interested in that, I know of quite a few places that are at different levels, depending on skill level.

We did family outing on Sunday last weekend so we're free to do as we please. It looks like no one most likely will go, so 3 of us it may be.

My wife and I will ride just need about 6 to 8 weeks to heal . More people may join in just give it some time .

Regardless of anyone going, the family and I are still doing a ride. It'd be great if others showed this time, but I know sometimes life gets in the way.

Figures.... I just moved back to FLA. from Knoxville... Sounds awesome though... I'll be back up in may no sure of a date yet, hopefully it'll line up with one of your rides...

I case there are any mind changers in here this morning, we're gonna be downtown roughly 10am EST. My number is XX if you decide to come. James is the name if you're coming. Justin mentioned he was interested in coming up from Cartersville. Regardless, my family and I will be down there riding. If you're running a little late but wanna come out, give me a call and I can set up something and kill sometime or meet-up somewhere along if needed. Later dude (and dudettes)!!
