I've got his address but hesitant to post it on a public forum. I'm sure there are some legalities involved. According to eBay, his name is Alan Smith. He won the auction for my NOS 16" JMC LB Seat Post and has yet to pay (auction ended 1/8/12) I saw he just finished making installments on a $4K JMC that Darrell Young rode in his NW Hall of Fame induction ceremony. That auction ended on 11/11/11 and positive Feedback was left on 1/10/12 stating all installments were sent on time as promised.

After filing an Unpaid Item Claim through eBay, Alan finally respond to me. We set up a payment arrangement and the first installment was made promptly. Hopefully, the second and last installment goes just as smooth.

Just received another email from him.He never disputes anything im accusing him of.
He just says"Thats funny just paid 10000 for three bikes". What a tool, unreal coming from a guy who bows up a motor in his car but has 10 grand laying around for bicycles. Amazing ignorant idiot

The deadline for the second and final installment on my JMC 16" LB seat post was 1/27. No payment received. I sent him another invoice. He responded telling me he doesn't get paid for 4 weeks and he will pay me then. I responded telling him if I don't have payment by 2/3 I would sell it to the next highest bidder and he would forfeit the money he already sent me as he did not meet the terms of our agreement. I had the payment within 30 minutes of sending the email. It just blows me away how people bid on eBay that don't have the money to pay and have the audacity to ask for payment terms. I think he just likes to jerk people around.

whao.. it is annoying, and happend to me a couple months ago on a set of z-rims, tried a couple friendly messages with no response, filed a non-pay bidder,then about a week later to my surprise i find out it is a member here, a member who with in days after auction close sold about $600 worth of stuff here. kinda lame.

Why is this guy NOT KICKED OFF EBAY!?

If you file a claim against him, make sure you contact ebay and find out how to place a non-paying strike against him.
You are supposed to get 3 strikes and then you're suspended.
I placed a strike against him, why doesn't he have 2 more by now??
I blame the sellers for not completing the claim and getting rid of this SCUMBAG!!!!

Someone find him and give teach him a lesson, PLEASE!!

He bid on some pedals I had on there about a week ago... I search him here, saw this thread, removed his bid and blocked him for good

I noticed this guy, i think what he may be doing is hopeing someone ships the item (s) to him before he makes payment, Ive had people say like, Please ship tommorow if you can, ill pay in 2 days dont worry! Um no, ill ship when i receive payment, Im done selling on ebay, its a joke.

He's highest bidder on some hubs on ebay I've got listed , saw his written feedback & got real nervous . Now I've seen this thread & another on V , I've added him to blocked bidder list but it still shows him as highest bidder ? . Does it take ebay some time to update this if you add someone already bidding ? .

You can cancel his bid.
Go to "site map" at bottom and follow that

No prob matt, glad it worked out for ya. I only know about him through all the "kind" words under his positive feedback, then discovering this post. I have an item listed now he bid up above and beyond. although it would be great if it sold for that, it was going to be a headache in the end.
