Just throwing out a friendly reminder about the old school show in the Couve. Show will be saturday august 4th, pacific skate park, vancouver, wa. This is the same venue as the last two years. Sign up will start at 10am. I am working on fliers & the new art work for the T's as well as the trophies. Don't want to give to much away but have some new builds in the works & some other cool stuff lined up. If you have any questions, PM me & I will answer them to the best of my knowledge at this point. Can't wait for this year!! Thanks & keep on riding!!

Screw you Hobbes - I have 3 riders that I don't bother transporting to VAN. Just for that, you can't even look at my three new builds for this year.

Looking forward to this event once again.. 6th year, crazy how time goes by... Def going to get a friday or saturday evening ride together again before the show...

Back to the lesson at hand...thanks to Mike for making this show happen.

I hear Sean on the noise from the skate park and agree. If the goal is to just hang with a bunch of other old farts in peace then we could have the show in somebody's backyard. If another goal is to be out there making people aware of old school BMX, then having at the skate park on the same date as competition makes sense to me.

Bottom line - this is pretty much the one time each year I get to hang with dudes who share one of my interests. So I'll show up wherever.

Thanks! I love the fact that the parents can bring their kids out, they can check out the old school, then watch the show in the bowl, a nice family day, with killer rides!!

Update: Talked to bad monkey bikes & they have their show scheduled for the 25th, so... We may be flying solo this year. The location will stay the same, there will just be alot more parking! They are going to let me know for sure?? Anyway, some of you have been asking for this, so we may get a chance to see how it goes, it would surely be quieter!! lol As they say, the show must go on...

We've had a frame toss the last couple years. Do we switch this year to a Hobbes toss?

How does everyone feel about the show starting at 10 but registration not starting until 11, so most of the bikes should be there & the voting will be more balanced?

Cool, the cruiser class is going to be revamped with more trophies this year, probably the biggest difference from last year.

To Fly Solo at a Park going to miss the Music & somewhat the Plywood Pushers...

In the Future might think about holding it at a Track, give the "riders" something to do, these Carpet Queen Fools(Nachoman3)have all the Fun with all there reach arounds trying to get a Trophy

Sup?? Talked to bad monkey today & we are still doing our shows together!! I love having the kids around riding in the bowl, so this makes me very happy!! Show is officially august 4th. So stoked, can't wait to show you guys what I got cookin & building!!
