I can say for the price,its a nice bike,and the free wheel issue is small in my eyes.

Its is actually rideable still but it will need replacing somewhat soon.

Traded it and I am getting another cruiser that matches the 20" that I traded for.

It's a shame too because if they had put on a freewheel that wasn't crap and didn't skip a lot and had spent a little bit more on chromoly parts and sold it for a little bit more, it would be an awesome riding bike, instead of just an awesome looking bike.

Don't buy it if you ride hard, or if you're going to ride it at all.  Thanks a lot to midschoolersbro and Bipolar for testing this bike and letting us know not to buy it, I'm glad I waited to see if the hi- ten. frame would hold up, or else I would have wasted $200 on scrap metal.

That's why I bought it to test it out.  I took the risk for the money to see how it did.

Yeah I know, and that's why I'm thanking you.  Now, thanks to you (and Bipolar) everyone knows not to buy the General Lee.

Well like I said this one cracked so maybe I just had poor luck but I personally would not recommend getting one.

If you want a General Lee, get one of the ones that were made before 2011.  Those are completely different.

$319 is a great price for a full chromoly 24".  It has a cool Standard- looking gusset too.
