Denver/ Colorado BMX

Possibility of moving there in the next 12 months. Link me to some good stuff. Tell me what the scene is like. Just want to know all I can, so when I visit this summer I will know what to expect. Hoping to sell my car and move there with just a BMX and a singlespeed for commuting. Thanks!

Just bring some cool old east coast stuff. Id suggest moving first and then selling your car. Its gonna take a long time to bike all the way from GA lol

You're gonna stand there, ownin' a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistlin' bungholes, no spleen splitters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker don'ts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistlin' kitty chaser?

My wife wants to move to Denver really bad and her works offering to move her there for free but it looks to gorgeous for me. I'm a city kid from Philly. I'm used to thugs and crackheads not deers, berries and grizzlies.

Desperate for Schwinn stamped brake cable from 79,80,81 or 82.

That's what I like to hear!  There are a bunch of tracks along the front range.  During the summer, you can race 5-6 times a week if you wanted to.

There are a couple indoor tracks running as well:

I'm sure you read about Wheat Ridge local David Herman being named to the USA Cycling team:

https://www.usacycling.org/ten-named-to … ps-1-2.htm

And, if you're so inclined, you can take in some Vintage racing:

When I start missing  the ghetto, I just drive through Aurora.

But seriously, don't worry about missing big city problems. Denver has those. And I wouldn't worry about the wildlife. I haven't been stalked by a mountain lion in weeks.

I ship to Australia. PM for details.

Re: Denver/ Colorado BMX

Best place I've ever lived for sure and the BMX scene is alive and well for old, mid and new school for all racers, dirt and street riders.  This is also the state where some people's mountain bikes cost more than their cars. big_smile  Let us know when you're coming through - if you're here over a weekend when we ride you're always welcome to join in!

You didn't stop riding your bike because you got old.  You got old because you stopped riding your bike...
