1984 Skyway T/A
1984 Skyway T/A
So badly wanted one of these when I was 13. Had the pic from BMX Action hanging on my wall.
This is my mostly survivor build with a few NOS parts mixed in. Waited a long time to find a super clean '84 f/f and this one was worth the wait. The fact that all the shades of red don't match perfectly is kinda killing me, but pretty happy with the outcome. Only two bikes left to complete my 10 year tribute to BMX.
Skyway TA frame/fork
Skyway Tuff II metal flange mags
Skyway Tuff pedals
Skyway Koolstop brake pads
GT Pro bars
Kuwahara Laser seatpost
Cycle Pro Shot Gun II seat
Shimano DX lever
Shimano Tourney brakes
Sugino Maxy Cross cranks
Sugino chainring/bolts/dust caps
Tange headset
Tange bottom bracket
Suntour seatpost clamp
Pro Neck stem
HKK chain
Oakley F1 grips
Union snakebelly tires

Re: 1984 Skyway T/A
I wouldn't sweat the small stuff......the blue parts on my current '84 Traker build don't all match either.

I appreciate the thought, but I have no use for purists!

Glad to see you finally got one, persistence pays off, nice F&F. I think black tan wall tires and a blue seat will ease your red troubles. Nice build.
Looking for some reasonably priced Revcore parts for a Hutchins build.
Always looking for nice SKYWAY parts & gear.

Thanks Wayne - great advice from the Skyway Pro himself. Love all your TAs and let me know if you have a nice frame pad available.
