1985 Dyno Compe II

really nice survivor.Only thing ive changed is the tubes!!!

This is a score of mine that sat in front of the peoples home for 3 days and nights in their front yard not even locked up!!!!!Rides perfect except for a flat spot on the rear tire that you can feel when you ride it.   SOLD

no it was most likely released in '85 but as an '86 model...compe II's came out in '86 and the dead give away is the '86 GT stickers on the bars smile

absolutely not.  its an '86...too many people put all the focus on the serial #, but the Compe II is an '86 only model

how can it be an '85 if it has parts that werent released until the '86 model year?

car companies do the same thing, they release their new models before the new year

NOT an '85  and thats a good thing, because the '86 is a better bike cool

Re: 1985 Dyno Compe II

Sup Matt? You really did come up on this bike.wink I feel you have enough free style saavy. Do you remember that HB ride a few months back and you asked that dude "why is that rear tire reversed, is that a freestyle thing"?? lollollol

You didn't ride it, if you didn't bite it.

There's the way it ought to be and there's the way it is.

Mike, your my good friend and I luv ya bro, but the BIG difference in the 85 Compe II and the 86... is the SINGLE 85 rear brake router(behind seat post) vs. the DOUBLE one on the 86s.

I have an 85 with the SINGLE flat router. smile

Also, the single 85s were made STRICTLY by Dyno, before they were acquired by GT. The Compe II was actually an 85 AND 86 model only... then the Pro Compe took over as the top Dyno. wink

Another thing is Compe IIs were made in USA AND Japan. lol
