2012 Hoffman Condor

Sweet Retro Condor, Thanks Hoffman.

Built this up as all purpose bike. Street, flat, whatever I can throw at it. Big sprockets will fit this frame. I tried a 43T and if fit fine. Currently running a 39-14 gear.

Looks good as usual, I'll be grabing this same colour frame if I pick one up. Dave.

Re: 2012 Hoffman Condor

Very cool to see it built up. How does it ride? Have you weighed it?

Re: 2012 Hoffman Condor

I'm curious about the weight too. Been really wanting to snag one of these retro frames, though weight really isn't an issue. Awesome looking ride you have there. cool

Re: 2012 Hoffman Condor

I built mine with all new school parts and it came in just over 23 lbs (21" top tube)

Really? That's not bad! Though, if it's the one in your "bikes" mine would have more parts but still, not bad.

Once I figure out what color I want, I will get one. Been wanting a Hoffman for over 10 years, they finally made one that screams at me!

Thanks for the info on the ability to run big sprockets. Lots of new frames are limited to 30 and below. I like the 39 you have on there, it gives it a great classic look with new style, without being too big.
Nice ride!

I'm all about the classic look too but I really want to try a new school ride so this frame will work perfectly! I really want to build one that's more chrome then chrome! big_smile

What more "parts" would you need on a new school set up?
