I believe that 39T is pushing it on those. I could be wrong tho.

I forgot to tell all my fellow Schwinn Fanatics...

I went to pick up my FreeForm Pro today,and if u look on page 1 i mentioned above the pic I was going to try and track down the OG forks and bars. Well turns out the owner (my buddy jim) had them

So excited. Im going to be putting the forks back on this week,giving it an extensive cleaning,and getting better pics. Now I need white and pink grips,and some white or pink freestyle tires,ooooohhhhhhhhh I also need to pray I can find a white YO seat or something similar!!

I do plan to ride it next weekend on our local ride,weather permitting!!

My "show" Sting has a 39t with a freewheel in back and it has a decent chainline. There's enough clearance that a 40 might be doable. My "race" Sting has a profile cassette and by flipping the cog to move the chain outboard gains a little, but not much. I'd suggest planning for 14t or smaller on the back and no bigger than 40 on the front.

83 team z predator surviver i got it new in 83 even has original chain brake pads and cables.it's up for grabs if anyone is lookin for one of these.[img][/img]

yes they are ,headtube decal has a nick in it.decals near the drop outs are denmark nos replacements.

Yes, a very clean Predator. The Mags are a nice touch. If I didn't already have two 1983 Predator Competitions, I would buy this one up!!!

What freewheel would you recommend for a 14T gear? Wish White Industries made one with a 14T gear!!!

Here is one that was a true barn find. It was tucked away over 20 years with plenty of caked on farm mud to prove it. Tires were wasted. I bought the repop Kendas from a member. I think they look pretty good.
