ceneA? Dig the DB. I was just flipping around the notion of doing a chrome fork instead of red on mine yesterday. Looks nice!

Splinter, I'm guessing that's a Cam (can't remember and didn't bother to look up the decals on the S&M website)? Looks super nice!

Anybody have any interest in S&M t-shirts and a hoodie from around 07-09? They're all 2XLs I believe but I'll have to double check when I find time to get pictures and post in the for sale section. This is just a heads up so if your interested, send me a Pm before they go up for sale!

I'm 23 and loving life! I was gone for a while but I'm back now wink. I'm crazy about S&M and Blk Mrkt stuff! My other hobbies besides bikes are Subaru, Women and daily visits to the gym.

Hahaha. He said he was sorry and out of town. And since its hard to determine from pictures if the frame is bent. That it will have to be sent in. Funny thing is. Homeboy comes over. I flip the bike and ask him what's wrong. He immediately points to the swayed front end.
Now I just hope I get to pick which frame and size I want. I rally want a 21" 3rd wave

Grind the back of your pedal bosses down. Its with it more than denting the shit outta your chainstays if it lands on it's side to hard. Also if you have plenty of sprocket clearance try to use ONLY the sprocket washer supplied with the sprocket and just slide the arm on

thanks man!.........ill see how it goes.. as of now the sprocket has plenty of clearance (28t).. and im only using the adapter that came with it like you said

also.. every once in a while when i put a lot of pressure on the arms (uphill, start of take off etc..) there's like a clank noise coming from the BB area.. i cant pinpoint what is it...no change in performance.. im guessing maybe its the bearings getting seated since everything is fresh?

is the sprocket bolt tight? i just experience that exact problem...my sprocket bolt had worked loose.

the sprocket bolt was loose!.tightened it up & put a drop of blue locktite.......... i hurt my foot though & got a flat so i cant test it out for a few days to see if that was the culprit

Re: S&M hoarders unite

This was posted on Shootsbrah.com but it has a bit of S&M reference so I figured I'd post it here as well . . .

"We just got back from a trip to Los Angeles/Las Vegas this past weekend.  We went up for the trade show and to cruise for just a bit.  My first day there, we hit up S&M and talked story with Dylan and McKinney for a bit.  We ended up looking through some of the private collection which they just recently started acquiring.
http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae164/machosouza/SMWarehouse2.jpg
They also have Beringers original prototype . . .
http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae164/machosouza/BeringerPrototype.jpg
And the very first LTF . . .
http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae164/machosouza/LTF1.jpg
I also got a chance to see the first run of T-1’s Garret Byrnes frames which are being made in the Building.
http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae164/machosouza/SM-BuiltT-1GarretByrnes.jpg
http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae164/machosouza/DuaneMcKinney.jpg
Here’s McKinney and I partaking in some frosty beverages upstairs before heading out to Mother’s Tavern in Sunset Beach.   A word of warning, if you have a peanut allergy, be careful.  This is the real deal with peanut shells all over the floor.  I will say, however, that this place has THE absolute coldest beer on tap I have ever had in my life!  A great atmosphere and live music most nights.
http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae164/machosouza/MothersLounge.jpg
Dennis flew in on Sunday night and we went straight from the airport to my friends house in Long Beach for an impromptu BBQ.  You’d be surprised at how many heads currently call Long Beach home.  During the course of the night a gang of cool cats showed up including Chicago transplant Kevin Porter and Chad Johnston.
http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae164/machosouza/LBBBQ.jpg
Off to Vegas Monday night for the trade show.  On the way into town, the lightning was outrageous.  For those of you who know us, we normally rent a boat and cruise Lake Mead on Tuesday but with the weather like it was . . . that wasn’t going to happen.  There’s no way I’m sitting on an aluminum pontoon boat in the middle of a lake with all that going on.
Luckily, Dennis and I are ok with changing plans and there’s no shortage of outlets for us to do so.  We ended up at a bar in Harrah’s with some big uns.
http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae164/machosouza/32ozCoors.jpg
This ended up hooking up with the Primo guys and off to the dollar bar at Casino Royale.  Due to national decency standards, I can’t go into that though.
Next night, Dennis wanted to rest.  Bigs had driven up earlier that day so he and I cruised around and walked about  20 miles . . . give or take.  We must’ve checked out 6 different places before we settled on Double Down Saloon.  Birthplace of the Bacon Martini and home of Ass Juice . . . you read that right.
http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae164/machosouza/AssJuiceTwinkie.jpg
Thursday night brought us to the Nora Cup awards.  I’m sure by now, everyone has heard who won what so I won’t bore you with details.  Needless to say, Reez at Kink/Blackout was very happy.   And we got to see Logan for a bit.
http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae164/machosouza/NoraCup.jpg
We ended up at the Hard Rock like everyone else and our boy Dave from Sparky’s was making the moves on one of the dancers there.
http://i968.photobucket.com/albums/ae164/machosouza/BigDaveHardRockDancer.jpg
All in all, it was a great trip.  Yes, we did get some business done which is the whole reason we were there in the first place.  But we did have fun.  I’ll see if I can get Dennis to post up some more shots later.

Shoots,
SoCal"

Would love to find my old Dirt Bike.  It was stolen in Pompano Beach, Florida in about 1996.  It's a '92 with the block graphics on a Green frame.  Pitchforks, Slam bars, GT (DK-style) stem and GT/Profile cranks.  Superlace hubs.  Would really love to put this back in my collection.

Re: S&M hoarders unite

Great pictures! I drive by Mother's all the time. It's about 5 - 10 min from my house. Always get a kick out of it because it looks like a cottage but usually seems to have 10 Harleys parked out front.

Man, they never let me see any of that cool stuff when I go over to S&M... Thanks again for the pictures!

All right kiddies... here's my junkyard dog BTM!

http://img801.imageshack.us/img801/7561/8911014.jpg

I picked up the frame and fork off some guys that work at Cult. It's an old pitchfork, wheels are el cheapo Alien Nation 440 on the rear and an layin' around Araya Super 7X with a mohawk up front. Cranks are CroMo Primos (175) with Atomlab pedals. Seat and sproket are Fit. Redneck, Grand Slams and Cult Vans grips.

It was supposed to be a 21" TT frame, but after I got it home it turned up as a 20.75". The seller was really cool about making an effort to make it right and actually found a buyer for it, but I decided to keep it and try it out anyhow. So far so good.

Re: S&M hoarders unite

Thanks dude. I've had it out a couple times but haven't really ridden it hard. I'm digging the feel of the new school bikes though. To be honest they're a lot more "dialed-in" feeling than my mid-school bikes. Actually, kind of reminid me of my mid-late '80s GT race bikes weight and balance wise. Way more than my Warpig or AOD anyhow...

That and it's a super short rear end. Compaired to the 14.25+ on the other bikes you named. The low bb helps keep it a little more stable. Should spin like a top
