Count me as tentative. Are we riding the park or just using that as a start?

I think last time we rode orlando the skate park was closed to bikes on sat. I am not 100% sure though. I was intended just to be a good meeting point that is easy to find.
It will be cool to see you there steve, I would bring jake but I feel like orlando is to busy to bring a 6yr old (in my opinion)

That is the only reason I am tentative. Usually hang with the kiddies on Saturday. Off to Vans tonight. You should come out.
By the way.....if you want to be old school in Orlando we should meet at the former spot of the Harley Hotel (now Lake Eola condominiums I believe) as most of the old pros would have ridden there at some point and it was home to Orlando's BMX seen from the early 80's for almost two decades.
I will try to make it. Let me know the time. Thanks.

Usuall time, 11am at the skatepark then we ride into downtown for some scenic riding, parking lot racing, terrorizing, and some food and drinks.

Count me in Erik.
We rode past the old Harley Hotel the first ride. It is directly across from the Lake Eola bandshell, about two blocks south of Robinson on Rosalind. It is condos now.
11am?

Re: Orlando area monthly ride
I had one too a few years ago but frame only. You know I never build anything from a frame only start
Brian has that black and gold I want to try out. After the St Augustine when I sat on one of the Quad cruisers, I want something bigger than my Podium now but want to stick with aluminum.

Count me in for sure.
FYI - Just got back from Vans and found out the skate park is closing January 31st. New mall owners don't want it there any more.

Seriously? There isn't much in that mall and Vans is always packed. But...in my family that is called the "man's mall" because my sons and I go there and hit Bass Pro Shops, Ron Jons, Vans, etc. Guys don't spend as much... Maybe they are putting a Victoria's Secret Outlet there...

Very seriously. The new owners are going to kick everyone out and start over from what I understand.
I am more than bummed. It's like I just found out a friend is terminal. My sons and I are there all the time and there is not a good alternative. May have to build our own.
Anyway....didn't mean to thread jack. Looking forward to meeting you guys on Saturday. I think Erik is the only guy I know other than a couple of guys from the tracks that are on the museum.
