1995 Standard Shorty

remixed

flat ground android

I bought this frame as a framest in 1996 at the xgames in chelsea pier, manhattan,to some really nice guys called pbc,or pennsylvania bike company, who also sold me a shirt,if you guys are out there, holla back, anyway,it was black, originally, and I seldom used it,as I was too used to my morales frames, still,I used it a bit, then stashed it away til 2004,when I used it for 3 months, then stashed it again until recently, its different form most shirties Ive seen/ridden/owned in the fact that the HTA is slower, and therefore better for me,ever since cw's I could never hang w/ultra steep angles.the bike is my main rider now,I love it,effortless combos abound, and since the parts are sorta new school, its pretty light, too, specially the front end, which sports a threadless odyssey pro flat fork, aheadset,gt piston stem and el cheapo lightweight flat bars w/no sweep courtesy of timberland boot stompings.the rest is pretty much simple, light componnetry,sr cranks, really light!36 h alex rims, acs rear tire, cst front, ally std type pegs,no frills, flat stuff, perfect for my aggro riding!

Re: 1995 Standard Shorty

SWEET! Just picked up a shorty frame today for 20 bucks! It's in really good shape too. I am gonna build it up and hopefully start riding again. I will post pics when I'm done with the build.

Re: 1995 Standard Shorty

I remember that frameset!

You just got back from a trip from NY while i was at your place i think getting parts for my Big Daddy bike i was setting up at  that time and  i believe in 95. You hooked up that baby up with a red quilled S&M Redneck, Standard Fork and 6pc Strip bars and Peregrine Super Pros 48's with the Super Pro tire in the back and  with a front  Primo V-monster Tire and i believe a set of Red Indy Pegs in the back and a set of handgrenades in the front.

It was black and so awesome!

I know thats the green one now in 2012.

The best setup bike you had back in 95 besides the Morales!

AWESOME SUPER RIDER! LONG LIVE CHAD DEGROOT AND RICK MOLITERNO!
