That was the run I saw yesterday. That guy is pretty good!

I'm trying to coordinate with my friend in Charlotte. I may have to come and go through the day. What time should I be there if I have bikes to show? And should we have signs or something that state what the bikes are?

I imagine you just bring your bikes to the display area when you get there and take them with you when you leave. It's not like a judged show, we're just bringing some history to show the kids. I wouldn't sweat the signs, we should be happy to explain the bike to anyone who asks.

Registration Starts at 8 am for Flatland and Park Contest , anytime after that is fine. Raffle tickets will be available by 10 for the Pork Chop prizes ....the drawing is around 1 - 1:30PM .

I haven't seen Mark post in a while. As far as I know, he was still planning to attend. I don't know him except through these here forums, so I can't speak for him.

Are any of you guys planning on participating in any of the events? If so, let us know so we can root you on!

I think Mark's still a little butt-hurt about last week. He deleted all his bikes so I know he's been reinstated. He'll be there.

Got around to uploading a few pics from the '11 Trans Jam. If they are too big, I can edit and make them smaller.

I believe the 3rd pic is of Hector Balmaceda. Can anyone confirm that?

Not sure who the guy with the long dreads is. He was competing in the Vets class I believe.

This year is APRIL 14th in Charlotte same place same time .

Hey Just wanted let everyone know the "TRANS JAM BMX Contest " is April 14th this year in Charlotte same place Tryon and 3rd . I will have a area for everyone to bring their bikes to show . We also will be doing another one in the fall in Greenville, NC in Sept or Nov.

Just wanted to remind everyone the date for Charlotte is April 14th. We also have added Raleigh, NC on May 20th (Raleigh will be indoors in the Dorton Arena )

There will be a area to display Old School /Mid School /collector bikes etc at both .

We'll be bringing a bunch of bikes to display this year and Keith usually has some from his own collection to show off. If you've never been to a pro contest, this is a great one to go to. Lots of action for all age and skill groups, and you can get up close to see it all.
