Re: LOUISIANA riders...

I haven't been riding anywhere lately, looking for some motovation...roll
Want to start going to BREC again but need a morale boost.
Used to ride BREC and LSU campus a lot, haven't been to either in a long time.
Probably get run off campus these days...

Re: LOUISIANA riders...

OK, cool.
Friend of mine said he has been going on Tuesdays also.
I am SO out of shape I really NEED to start riding.
My schedule is VERY day to day, so I'll see if I can pull out of here and make it.
Thanks

Re: LOUISIANA riders...

I have a meeting in Prairieville at 3:30 so I figured I'd take advantage of being close to Baton Rouge and hit up BREC afterwards.  So, I'll probably get there right around 5(when it opens) and stay for a couple of hours.  I'm taking 2 bikes that I want to compare.

Thats what I like about the open riding.  You can just go around at your own pace, just do the first straight, whatever.  Its a great way to get comfortable out there again.

Re: LOUISIANA riders...

Hey there southern folk. Haven't forgotten about the NOLA ride I wanna plan. I haven't had much time on my computer lately. I've been working 70hr weeks so it's pretty much work, sleep, work, sleep, repeat. I still wanna plan the ride for middle/late July. The movie I'm working on wraps next week so I'll have some time then to get some plans in order. big_smile

Re: LOUISIANA riders...

Haven't forgotten about the ride. I'm off for a few weeks after the 15th. Any Saturday or Sunday after that should be good for me maybe like the last weekend of July. What's good for you guys?

Re: LOUISIANA riders...

Hey guys. How about Saturday July 30th for the NOLA Ride? I was thinking we could do a city park/Lakefront sorta route and maybe hit Parkway for beers and poboys. Let me know what y'all think. I'm gonna start a new thread strictly for the ride and update both that one and this one. Stay Rad!
