1984 Vector Unlimited FS

1st Generation Vector Freestyle

Big thanks to Brian P who originally found this frameset as a part of a matched set and was gracious enough to give me the opportunity to own and re-build one of them.

Items with a (*) were NOS before mounting.

This bike is almost completely original finish. The grip tape (in it's original positioning), fork decals, drive-side american flag, and top-tube "true-temper" decal were the only things replaced on the frameset due to heavy damage.

I have to say that I never (NEVER) liked these luggage rack Vector FS...until now! You really did this unique set justice and I have to say that those yellow Zs with black nipples are absolutely PERFECT on this bike! beautifully done man!

thanks for the comments everyone! i haven't been able to keep up on the museum lately, but i did acquire some vector pedals to go on this build. i'll update photos next time i remember.

77stroker2, no real reason for the plate aside from adding more flare to the build. nos hot plates don't come around often and the colors matched too perfectly. you could argue that it's pretty pointless for a freestyle rider to have one, but check photos of the pros BITD. although many of them might have used plates for sponsorship reasons.
