So.... is that all they are worth?
Or do I have to put them on ebay?

I'm not sure what they are worth, how you been Johnny? I've been laid out with a broke ankle. I hope they will let me start working in about 2 weeks.

You post it in the "name it" forum section, preferably with pictures.

I'm looking for the following frames, frame & forks or completes by BMX products:
MotoTrac (nickle or chrome), Racer-X or a Super-X (with the double gussets preferred).
Thanks wink

I don't really see the issue people have with the "how much is it worth threads".  I mean, if you dug your old bike out of storage, and wanted to know it's current value...going to a forum full of bmx collectors and asking isn't really the worst place to start.  It's probably the best place to ask actually.

I agree. I don't see the big deal. This site is fortunate enough to have people in the know who could "ball park" something for a guy who dug his old bike out. And all of us others are even more fortunate to have people like you around.

If a guy is being a dic K about it or its obvious he just joined to get his bikes appraised so he can then turn around and try to sell them on here for that amount, sure, no argument there.

But I was in that spot one time. (I don't recall asking what my old 86 Robinson was worth, but only because i wasn't interested in selling it).

Good point! Also, sometimes you just want to know what something is worth before you dump a shit load of money into it.

New to the club, and don't want to faux pas.....Would it be rude to inquire about purchasing a member's bike (privately) that was not listed as for sale?
Also, one mistake I made already that new members may want to learn....I bought an item that was no longer for sale from the old for sale, before noticing the new listing style. May have caused someone some unnecessary aggrivation . oops.. my bad

I knew a guy that thought Dorf was a real....ah...little person. I asked how he thought he could fall back and spring right up like that. He didn't know.

Re: Bmx Museum<--->Newbie Guide<--->Pro Membership<--->How To's

My 2 cents on the "whats it worth?" (and 2 cents is about what my opinion is worth but....)
I think someone should be able to ask what something is worth, #1 only if they have actually done research trying and had no luck, and #2 only in a section that is for Pro member only. I thing this because how many times do people easily join the site after they found a bike, want a value, with intent to just ebay it and never to be heard of again! hmm
I know I've seen it...and i am pretty sure some of you might have too.
