Re: 1982 Redline PL-20
Hi. Sensational Bike. I have one almost identical apart from it sitting under the hose for the last 28 years.
Im trying to determine the model, on the frame decal it has MXII in small text.
1 pc cranks - so Im going with 1981 MXII 600 model?
Im using yours as a reference point for quality on the restore.

Re: 1982 Redline PL-20
dynomite-BANG--looks sharp--love the colors!!!
JOKE;A GUY WALKS INTO THE BAR AND ORDERS 3 DOUBLE SHOTS OF TEQUILIA. AS SOON AS THE BARTENDER POURS THE SHOTS THE GUY INSTANTLY SLAMS THEM DOWN. THE BARTENDER SAYS"YOU SURE DRANK THOSE QUICK BUDDY" AND THE GUY SAYS"YOU WOULD TO IF YOU HAD WHAT I HAVE" THE BARTENDER TAKES A FEW STEPS BACKWARDS AND SAYS "WHAT DO YOU HAVE?" AND THE GUY SAYS"A BUCK FIFTY" PICK UP LINE: I MAY NOT BE THE BEST LOOKING GUY IN THIS BAR BUT I AM THE ONLY ONE TALKING TO YOU.

Re: 1982 Redline PL-20
I think that bike is better than the original. It would've rolled out of the shop with a red seat, stem and pedals.
Congratulations, don't knock it over!
