1981 Nomura
1981 Nomura "Factory Rider" anno Black . The frame was originally welded on 9-14-81 and was anodized on 9-20-81...by the 2nd of his 2 anodizing metal shops.
The frame appears to have faded to a pur

Here are some pics to confirm that black anno does indeed fade to a purple hue. These are some Answer forks black anno that have faded over the last 10-15 yrs. Notice the very similar colors to my nomura

Johnny you definitely did her up right! That headset really makes it pop and that MCS looks better than the other one. I'm glad you got this - keep it forever.
I can't believe the way people mistreat bikes. It also amazes me how many people don't have any bikes and never ride them - poor miserable souls.

hey Mark, yea the 4 bolt that came with this bike just didnt look right with the gold parts, especially that sick headset!! When I saw the 6 bolt polished mcs stem pop up I didnt hesitate to snag it!

Thanks for all the comments, this had to be one of my favorite builds. Most of the parts I collected before I even knew this frame existed

One sic Nomura build! Love the color combo with the purple haze frame. You can't buy that effect, only time can do that! Sweet.
