1985 Univega
1985 Univega
Not easy to find these!
Picked this up from a fix-it guy thru CL. Cool frame, pretty basic. I'm not sure who made these frames for Univega, but I've seen the same type serial # on other brand bikes. Real light. I'm totally guessing on the year.

Re: 1985 Univega
And here i was thinkin this ride was similar to my 84 Univega pace with the multi hole small gussett under the downtube as is mine in a dark brown/black livery with the red green blue striped bands and white logo text and a chainy that looks like a version of the Redline crucifix .similar to a very early RL340 i have.... and yes mine has Anlun forks and Anlun dropouts..as posted in an earlier edition..under" these forks are spaghetti"..but more like toast..bent as...still its a Univega..how many are in Australia..not many if any..i dont know of any one...ahh huh ahh huh....stole a bit from a scribe song there...Love my Univega and as an OZ based Ex pat US of A friend was heard to say..You have a Univega here in OZ..no way.... Hey Kev ..Univega was my first BMX..folks bought it for me from Walllymart when i was 9....that"ll do me for the collection guys thats all the affirmation i need...now all i want for Xmas is a Huffy Pro Thunder.. And after being let down on one on evil bay...it was an 82" guys with the immpressioned fake holey gussett in fire engine red..im still devo not to have it delivered after winning the auction and buying some Cali light pads off Billc on here..so if ya have one and want to part with it.Hell i dont mind if its in the Black and Gold just bring it guys im open to offers as long as the budget works....cheers 4 now ..rgds Kev.
