chevron stamp on end of fork= fst or fsx
for pre 1986 master or sport has no chevron stamp on end of fork. if you find fork that has chevron stamp on it that for fst or fsx... so be careful when you looking fork for your pre 1986 master or sport, be sure the fork has no chevron stamp.

came off 1987 white/black sport 
1988 has same style
1988.5 are painted instead of chrome.

Chrome 1986 fst fork (not too common to find chrome 1986 fst) also can be use for sport or master.
