HERE'S MY S&M PERFECT !0 BARS, WHICH ARE GOING ON MY 2006 HARO SPORT! Hey Just Notice The Title Reads Sporting The S&M Bars,Which Are Going On My Sport! LOL Sport The Sport! Ok Enough Of That ! 1st off I must say I Hated 2pc. Bars Until I had seen these! When I Saw These,I had to have them ! My Wife Had gotten these for me for X-Mas and when I saw Them,I was In Love ! Man these bars are so BIG ! I didn't know what to put them on? I did some looking around,and they screamed Sport ! My Wife looked a little puzzled,cause she knew I wanted them,but didn't know what I would put them on,as for that was the 1st thing she said! I told her I'll find something! Well I told Her that I found a bike to put them on,and told Her,that I would have to get them Re-Powder Coated ! She was all for it, So Let's start the pictures on how they came to me ! Here's The Bike That They Are Going On !

Now here's the bike and I didn't get a chance to post pics.,with the new seat ( Primo ) and seat post chrome layback ( Redline ),And here I did 2 pics. with a Flash And a Non-Flash,so u could see the different paint scheme !

Ok now for the Bars after powder-coating ! I went to a Powder Coat place here in Modesto,CA. that is Called BWM POWDER COATING ! A Friend of mine that was getting some Chevy Parts ( Junk ) Powder Coated told me about this place ! I made the call and talked with Arron,and told him what I would like done,and told me bring them in and we can do it ! I was Hella Excited that I even ask the Boss,if i could get off a HR. early to get them in B-4 5:00 P.M. ,and Boss said "Go For It " ! Arron and I talked and he had the Powder in stock and he said, well go Single Stage With Gloss ! I dropped them off and they would take a week,Not Bad For $ 35.00 !

Now Off to the phone to make calls to get the Original Decals back on ! Made the call and was Hooked up with all decals to go back on the Bars once done,Due to the fact,that I Was Using There bars,so i'm not Dropping Names on this One ! Ok Got decals on 01-13-2011 And Got The Bars On 01-14-2011 ! The Wife had Picked Up the Bars for me on the way to her work,now mind U, I Haven't seen these yet,but she F-N ing with me all day long,O Honey,there's a Scratch in them, O and they are the WRONG COLOR, Man I just wanted to see them ! We'll I get home and WOW, I couldn't Be more Happy ! These Are Sick,Just Plain Stupid ! I have Worked 6 Days Straight And I thought I would Sit down and share this with U guys and also To the People that Are Thinking Of Getting Them, GET THEM ! I'M TO TIRED to go out and TRY to work on these and put them on,cause We all know that when we are Tired,
we all know what happens, THINGS GO WRONG ,so as much as I hate to Say This,I Leave U With These,cause if I were to go out and try to work on this,Decals would be all "F"ed up,and I would put a Allen Wrench Mark In The Powder Coat,and for once I'm Walking Away and getting Some Sleep,So I can do this Right ! That bike is Sick!! Those bars are gonna look sweet on there, I got mine in on Friday and got em mounted on my Redline, lovin em! Post up some pics when there on the bike!

Funny how trends change.

It wasn't that long ago when Slams were considered HUGE compared to what else was on the market.

Then they became the norm.

Now we have these.

Is it just a current fad, or do the reasons for bars going "small" no longer apply.

I see plenty of "kids" much smaller than me riding "big" bars.

I think the small bars were for all the bar spins and seat clearance issues. Now that all the kids run their seats slammed, there's no reason to cut bars. I find that the wider bars give a more stable feel and the height makes it easier to lift the front.

Sorry Guys that I didn't put anything up today . I had a long week with only today off ( Sunday ) and Hella slept in . Then i get the call that I have been waiting on a Year And A Half ! I scored a 2005 Black ( only comes in Black for the people that don't know ) Haro Sport ! I will try to get some more pics.up this week ! I also will be adding a Tioga CD 44 tooth with the Tioga CD Spider ! Also will be adding new brakes to it,and when done All the colors should all be dead on ! To answer ur Question, I don't know ! I have NEVER liked the 2PC. bar until my Son got into riding,and the Funny part, I didn't even like them last year,when we got his Forum ! This Sport came Factory with a 7.75 rise and like 26" wide in the same color as the front of the bike,but it just wasn't happening for me ! Then about 2 months ago, I saw The Perfect 10 Bar and my brain started going and I was on a mission to make this happen ! In the process I have worked with a few people at S&M that went out of there way for me,all because I was going to be doing it with their Bars and they didn't care that their bars weren't going on a S&M Bike ! Here's the scoop on me! I don't ride any more trick wise , I just love the BMX World and I'm the 1st to step up and let u know,that Im A Poser & I Love It ! My bikes steal the show at the skate parks,and that's all that matters to me,cause the New Kids haven't seen our rides and when the do, they all drew all over my bikes! For me to get these bars , was just a kicker to let the World To Look At Me ! Plus all the Kids Make Me Feel Good And Treat Me Like A King! I don't even have to do a trick,cause The Bike Speaks For Itself ! I Have My Son To Thank For Keeping Me In The Game ! The Kids Even Named Me ! When I Roll Up,They All Say, " Whats Up Pops " ! I Love It !

Tonite I'm Not Going To Be Long Winded Ok Bars Are Back And I Can't Get This Smile Off Of My Face I'm Going To Run This Post As Long As I Can, B-4 It Get's Yanked Down ( I Hoping Not, I Mean Come On,Were Just Putting On Handle Bars ! ) Ok I Ran Into A Few Problems When Putting On,But We'll Get To That Latter ! Ok These Pics. Are Nothing But Putting The Factory Decal Back On ! I Really Didn't Think That I Would Like The Red S&M Perfect 10 On The Gummby Green,But Once On, I Feel In Love With It ! Here's A Few Shots, Of Me Putting Them On !

Here Is The Final Touch Up,Took a Hair Dryer To The Decals To Make Sure They Stuck !

Bar Decals Are Done,And I'm Going To Bed, But I Will Leave U With These ! Starting To Strip The Bars Off Of The Bike ! These Bars Have Been On The Bike For 4 Years And I Are Sad NOT Wow Front Brake Cable Was Giving Me Hell I Didn't Want To Use The Cheap Break Levers,But Didn't Order Dia-Comp 77 Yet ! This Is Why I Don't Like Cheap O Break Levers Cause U Have To slide Them Off,Which Sucks,I Need The Hinged Kind ! We'll Continue 2morrow:D

Ok I'm Back And TIRed, Just Plain Tired ! I'm Hanging In There ! Ok At Work Today, I just Come Across Of The Conclusion Of WHAT THE HECK I'M I DOING ? I Thought That Is Would Be Fun ,But This Isn't Fun,This Is Work , So I Came To Say that I'm Done With This ! I Don't Know How Those Other Guys Do It, But G.D. , This Sucks ! This Is My 1st And LAST POST ON MAY THING OF BUILDING,OR SWAPPING ! Well Let's Speed Up The Process ! Hope U Like !

Here I Pulled The Other Bars Off And as U Can See Had Some Trouble Here Id Didn't Want To Break The Front Cable Down ,So Went This Route And As U Can See Had Trouble And To Top It Off The Break Lever Didn't Want To Go On ,So On The Right Break Lever, I dermal It And Got Lucky ! I'm To tired, So I Quit I Wanna Got To Bed !

yo all you have to do is wedge a screw driver in the lever after you take the bolt out and you dont scratch the powder coat. i did it with absolute success earlier this week on my buddys s&m hoder bars.

Amazing What a shower Will do To A Person ! I Got A Few More Hits And Got A Subscriber ( halsencrew Thank You Dude ! ) I Was Starting To Think That This Was A Waste of Time! I Was Thinking All Day Today, What I'm I Doing, I Don't Need That Much Attention, So B-4 My Shower, I Was Like Ok I'M Done,NEVER AGAIN WILL I DO A POST FROM START TO FINISH ! It's Just As Much Work As Doing A Bike ! I Was Falling Asleep While Posting ( I Some How Got On Fresstyle Freaks web-site ), And Just Pretty Much Was Thru,So I Just Started Posting Pics. Yes they LOOK obnoxiously huge even on my Holmes but they FEEL great for cruising
They are just a tad bigger than the Skyway bars I got from Ed. I liked the feel of those so I wanted the Perfect 10s when they came out and I'm very happy with mine

These bars are the bomb. They feel so good. Huge bars! I think they look good on the haro but the 4 piece do as well. I bet the perfect 10 feel better to ride with though.
