Re: 1976 Kenny Roberts
I have always wondered if these where built by Doug Schwerma. The rear end looks sooooooo much like a Champion. Whadda think? Any info on the builder?

Re: 1976 Kenny Roberts
ok, who was the builder of the pr sentry, don't tell me boss. panda? carlo? Trevor Piggot wasn't even born. the legend grows. and what are a few of the others? if the guy that built the roberts and sentry built something else.... then it must be one of the other baddest bikes out there. please dig up any facts on the history of these, or at least let's hear some theories. here's one of my theories.... you all must be dying to here it. there is a sick 3 way love triangle between the sentry, roberts, and champion. they are all tied up with king kenny holding the key. he had something to do with all of them, soooo cooool, soooo fast! here's a tidbit for you to chew on. I remember the talk of a new frame coming out, Brent Patterson was still on the champion, speedo was in full force... One sunday at Vallejo we spotted a dark blue frame being handed around between the patterson brothers, and some wicked fast guys from speedo... Crews, maybe Koron, maybe Ridling... I was watching them from the starting hill, they were hovering around by the anouncers booth, there was a buzz about a speedo frame coming out. I saw the 3rd bar, it looked like a lower profile champion, never saw it again, then a while later the PR Sentry came out. wow. had to have one. come on, feed the fire! my sentry was #44, stolen back in high school. with speed forks. Stolen in Redwood City, Ca. if you see it, hurt the guy and don't scratch my bike!
