1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team Model
1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team Model
87 PFT ....... Teal Model
Here is my 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour in a custom Teal Model. I still love to do the custom builds. It's pretty hard with this particular bike, since everyone has mastered them so well... especially the day glo's. So I wanted the challenge to come up with something different. I am pretty happy with how this one turned out. Not too many like this one - It definitely has a custom twist but doesn't stray too far from the era. It pretty much has all correct parts except for upgraded grips (unitrons), chain and decals. Hope you like it...
Parts Breakdown:
- 1987 GT PFT frame/fork
- GT performer handlebars
- SR GT mallet stem
- GT Epoch headset
- Odyssey Gyro 1st gen
- AME Unitron grips (NOS)
- Dia Compe Tech 7 brake levers
- GT seat
- GT seat post clamp
- Dia Compe 883 Nippon front brake
- Dia Compe 990 rear brake w/ dc brake pads
- GT Power Series 3pc cranks
- GT 43t chainring
- GT power disk
- SR 474 pedals
- OGK GT teal mags (NOS)
- GT Freestyle tires (NOS)
- GT fork standers
- GT frame standers
- Custom decals from the hive..

Vic, incredible job on this bro. As always, all the details are perfectly covered and great photos to catupute it. Those mags are INSANE! Thanks for the sneek peeks early on, this thing would look GREAT in a calendar, ![]()

you know what would be cool to try are those shocking pink peregrines chromey has on his kuwi. I betcha those mags would pop so big of that cool frame color same as those decals do.
Awesome build man. I love the color and mags. Instant FAV! ![]()

Re: 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour Team Model

I would ride that until my legs fell off, and then I would coast until I fell over.
