1974 Yamaha Moto-Bike

Model A.
serial#: J60005036

This was my Uncle's bike. It has been hanging from the rafters in my Grandma's garage since about 1980....until now. My Uncle did not want it anymoreand Grandma knows I'm into BMX so she gave the bike to me.  The bike is in pretty good shape but needs a good cleaning. It even has the original tires!
My Uncle says that he got it new from a SoCal Dealer that carried Yamaha and Husqvarna motorcycles. This bike is HEAVY! I can't believe people could jump these back in the day.

They use to race those and others at Hammond Park in  San Jose 1976 NBA, what a fun place to race. Nice bike like the fenders.

Cool. Do you have any pics from back in the day? I'd love to see 'em. Thanks!

Re: 1974 Yamaha Moto-Bike

Not from Hammond Park but from the 90s when I started racing again in 1997 and up from Santa Clara and nationals.  Hammond park is where I had my 1st race in 1976 then later on at Aptos High and other tracks Morgan Hill& Orion Park Good Times!  coolcool
