Jaggazaki

This is my old bmx I used to ride in the late eighties here in Sweden. It’s been sitting in our boathouse at our summerhouse for so many years without anyone paying attention to it. Interested in bikes in general I started to think about the bmx and decided to bring it out in the light again. But I was sad to discover that the bike now had a lot of surface rust on it. Anyways, since I couldn’t find any information about it I thought you could help me out. Maybe it’s a more known brand but the importer in Sweden relabelled it as jaggazaki.
The bike has bear trap pedals, araya rims, takagi crank and tracer chainring.

Re: Jaggazaki

A serial number may help narrow down the factory where it was made.

Re: Jaggazaki

That bike's not in bad shape at all.  A little cleaning and it will look nice!

If I had money I'd buy a new BMX.....

Re: Jaggazaki

I took a quick look for the serial number on the frame when I took the pictures but didn’t find it. As soon I have the opportunity to bring the bike back to my place I will clean it up and look again. And yah the stickers are pretty cool smile, just wish I had taken better care of it back in the days.
I will look up the tange, rhino thing.

Re: Jaggazaki

Tioga also, or really it could have been something they special ordered as it was pretty easy to get your own specs.

Re: Jaggazaki

I think the forks are Stratton ProCat from 1985 (click to enlarge):

The frame is definitely different though.
The ProCat was top of the Stratton line, I don't know whether they made their own framesets or re-badged imported framesets (such as Tange).
