Luggage Rack 1st model!!!

My freakin' dream bike, finally!!!! I moved over a few of the parts form my other white one, but I have a some different things for it too.

Thanks guys! I finished it up today. (new pix) Moved over some parts from my other white 85, but not everything. I thought I'd be stripping that one all the way down, but it looks like I have enough to keep that complete too. Woohoooo! I was going to try and get this luggage rack f/f as much like the one in the old ad as possible, but then thought I'd go a little more original. Still have some of the parts from the one in the ad on it and there are still a few little changes I want to do, but I'm happy for now.

I bet this looks killer next to your Phaze 1 and the Ceppie/Shaker tribute. You truly have one of the best CW collections on the site. Congrats.

WOW. I mean WOW.

What kind of stem is that? Can we get a better pic of it? Looks like there is some kind of additional platform off to the side of it.

Thanks a lot guys! The stem is one that I have ad a long time. I wish I knew the brand, but I'm not exactly sure. The California Freestyle platform on it though is something I came across later. I have only seen one other, and his stem was pretty identical to mine except that it had CW stamped into the cap of the stem. That platform has the original black anno finish on it, but I did spray a thin coat of black over the top of it years ago. You can see a little of that coming off and the brown looking anno showing through. That's only on the top though, the sides and bottom are still a nice black anno, not faded at all. I masked off the sides and only sprayed the top when I did that. Anyway, that platform is original CW, and the stem is as close as I could find to the 6-bolt CW one that goes with it. Here's a couple closer pix.

This is a very cool bike. I love frames that have that very blatant "put your foot here" area behind the seat tube. Gorgeous and aggressive build, kudos!!
