did anyone ever flip your bike up side down

Re: did anyone ever flip your bike up side down
I remember seeing people use straight seat posts as handlebars, flip around a laid-back seat post, take the cranks out and put in a
dumbbell through the bottom bracket, but not much of turning the whole frame up-side down.
I know BMX-plus or BMX-Action did some articles on this back in the 80's, anybody got some scans?
Looking for 1988 Haro F-16, Faun Black Foam Grips, 48 hole silver sumo rims, pm me.

A few of us did that in Red Deer in the 80s.I used my mongoose pro class and the finished product was light. Our first run we all got beat by a guy riding his freestyle bike. Having to push the bike back up the looong hill really sucked. Took it apart and never did it again:lol:
