1995 Standard Lengthy

the original "tank bike"

two of my friends had these back in the day but i had nowhere near the $ to get one at the time. flash forward to the present and we have this. i'm still changing parts around, trying to get it "right". sourcing the strip bars, bash fork and pegs took a lot longer than i expected. i'd love to paint the fork white but the chrome is in way too nice of shape.  i did a 1 1/8 headset conversion, repaired the many dings and fixed the massive grind marks on the dropouts. this is the heart of "standard country" so i need to finish it and get it out.

"This should be a no brainer guys. If you think the wife would disagree with the bike/price tell her "Honey, I bought this for you. I LUUVVVV you...". And then proceed to put it with your other bikes and tell her she can never ride it. lol"

Re: 1995 Standard Lengthy

Awsome! I got my first Standard in 1995 it was the green STA (Stronger Than All) Then in 96 got the blue lengthy. Would love to get my hands on those two bikes again. I am sure you will find the strip bars around. I caught up with Dave Nourie in Germany this year. he is riding his 1986 Green Master with chrome strip bars. Pretty rad eh?
